Writing Exercise:  Introducing Yourself to a Pen-friend

Use the model above to help you start your own profile here.  Include links to videos, and websites like facebook if you want to.

Students are then asked to introduce themselves to their group members using the model above. Students in this process are likely to use sentence patterns like: 1) My name is ...

                                                                            2) I am from ..., My hometown is ...

                                                                            3) l like doing ..., I am good at ..., My hobbies are ...

                                                                                I like ... best, My favourite food(s) is(are) ...

                                                                            4) I am easy-going, ...

After the information change, students will do a guessing game. A student will do the narration of another student and the rest of the students are encouraged to guess who he/she is.

Then students are asked to do a small piece of writing to introduce themselves in order to successfully make a pen-friend.
