Using videos

To add a video to this wiki (see some more examples on the page Web 2 for teaching and learning):

  1. find the video you want on YouTube (or a similar site)
  2. look for the "embed code" for the video
  3. copy all the code
  4. on the wiki page, go to "edit page" and then make sure you have the cursor / mouse in the place you want the video to appear
  5. click on the "insert plugin" button
  6. choose the "video" and then"YouTube video" (it doesn't matter if it is from a different site, not YouTube - it will work the same)
  7. copy all the code into the box
  8. click on "next" and "finish"
  9. save the page; then you will see the video ready to play
